The CZECH OFFICE FOR INTERNATIONAL LEGAL PROTECTION OF CHILDREN in Brno - www.umpod.cz - is blocked since 2 days by Czech father activists from K213 - www.k213.cz . All people can go in and out - except one woman.
The fathers have successful prevented, that the new director of this office Mrs. Pavlova - a feminist lawyer as K213 says - could start her new job (see photo).
All main Czech newspapers (except boulevard) and main TV-channels have reported several times about this case.
Mrs. Pavlova is known as lawyer of mothers in cases, where the mothers keeped the fathers of any contact to their children - K213 says. Over that the competion of tenders for the director of this office, which is responsible for international child abduction, international maintainance payments and adoption of children, was not OK - says K213.
The Czech minister of Labour and Social Affairs Mr. Necas says, that the the competion of tenders have been transparent. Also Mrs. Pavlova has international experiences, because she was the lawyer of Mrs. Baraova, the mother who abducted her child from Portugal to the Czech Republic and have hidden it for 2 years from authorities - says the minister (no joke, see: http://tyden. cz/rubriky/ domaci/bojovnici -za-prava- otcu-obklicime- urad-advokatky- deti_39723. html).
K213 is a father activists association called after the § 213 of the Czech penal law, which allows to put fathers into jail, if they cannot pay the children maintainance because of sickness or unemployment. In the case of the leader of K213 the European court of Human Rights in Strasbourg found 2006 (case Fiala vs. Czech Republic) a triple violence of human rights.: In August 2006, the human rights court ruled that the local courts had moved too slowly in his case, violated his right to a family life and did not adequately protect him when his ex-wife refused to grant his agreed-upon visits.
